of yourself in motion.ġ) keeping a weight on the remote somewhere neear the camera in line of sight for IR, set camera to burst mode and do your stuff.Ģ) buy a wired remote (aputure ones) that can set timed shots. If you use burst mode it will only work if you are within rangeĭefinitely useful if you want to take multiple shots of yourself and perhaps later superimpose the images together. only works for in camera self timer but not remote. I think that you can put the camera in burst mode and it works? Do a search, there is another post I read a while back where someone got it to work I am sure of it. By that time, some people in the picture will have had time shift around out of boredom. It would just be convenient to press the ML-元 remote once and hide it, rather than press-hide, press-hide, press-hide, etc.

Sneakerdog Oh! There's no *need* for this functionality. Self portrait hdr? if so use the remote timed delay and hide it before the camera fires, just press multiple times ? why woud you need multiple shutters if youre using the ml-l3 i can test it out tonite when i get home from work. Did you configure any options in addition to setting the C3 menu options and selecting the remote/timed shooting option? What you wanted was for the wireless to fire once, and the camera to take say 2 or more consecutive photos? I use a third party wireless remote and have gotten that function to work. Is there any way to automatically take multiple exposures when using the remote? I've searched the user guide and this group's discussions, but haven't found the answer.

Setting the number of exposures does not seem to affect how many pictures are taken using using the ML-元 remote and the timed remote shooting mode.
#SHUTTERCOUNT ML UPGRADE#
Note: for the best compatibility with your camera it is recommended to upgrade the camera’s firmware to the latest available version. The Self-Timer options (C3 in the menu) let us determine the delay and number of exposures to take when using the self-timer feature. For a separate mirror movement reading (that includes videos) you should consult an authorized Canon Service Center. ShutterCount only displays the shutter count for still photos – video clips recorded are not included in the number. Even if you work for a rental house or just lend a camera to a friend. The app provides unlimited readings for an unlimited number of cameras, so you can freely track actual camera usage. And you can save a trip to a Canon Service Center by doing the reading for yourself. With ShutterCount you can easily check whether a newly purchased camera is really new, or check how heavily used a pre-owned item is. The shutter count is read directly from a USB-connected camera, and thus provides accurate numbers that are not attainable with simple EXIF-based methods. ShutterCount displays the number of shutter actuations (the shutter count) of your Canon EOS digital camera. The app has a special introductory price of just $1.99 until October, 30th.
#SHUTTERCOUNT ML MAC#
Yet another shutter count application, sorry: app (we’re in the Apple domain this time).ĭIRE Studio released a nifty app for the Mac that does just one thing: it displays the shutter count of your Canon DSLR (yes, Magic Lantern shows it on the camera display, but not everyone has ML).
